ESCAPE FIRE: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare is a documentary film and national engagement campaign that tackles one of the most pressing issues of our time: what can be done to save our broken medical system? The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012, went on to a successful theatrical and iTunes release, received rave reviews from top media outlets, had a national television broadcast on CNN to nearly 2 million viewers and received an Emmy nomination in 2014. The film was also recognized and lauded by Members of Congress, The White House and at The Pentagon. NY Times Critics’ Pick and #1 documentary on iTunes.

About Our Work
For Impact Productions served as Impact Campaign Strategist for the film’s theatrical, online and television broadcast and national public policy outreach. Culminated in 600+ community screenings; 2 million CNN viewers w/40 million Twitter impressions; an online Day of Action; CNE and CME accreditation; Capitol Hill and Pentagon policy discussions and screenings, and a bi-partisan amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act to allow the VA to take back prescription drugs from our soldiers to prevent over medication and suicide.
