I didn’t set out to start a company.

In government, I saw how real people’s stories gave meaning to public policy. In corporate media, I learned that data alone doesn’t drive success, story does. In nonprofits, I recognized that change came from a deep understanding of the stories behind issues and topics. Those experiences shaped a belief I couldn’t shake: visual storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have for social good, and artistry is integral to a society’s elevation and progression.

That belief became the foundation of For Impact Productions (FIP).

When I launched FIP, I met countless independent, mission-driven filmmakers creating bold, urgent work yet struggling to fund or distribute their projects within traditional systems. They had purpose but lacked a path. I knew that tension well. Having worked across government, media, nonprofits, and entrepreneurship, I understood how systems worked and where they failed.

For Impact Productions was born to bridge that gap: to help artists get their stories made, seen, and felt not in spite of their values, but because of them.

From producing issue-driven films to designing impact campaigns, I’ve always believed artists are first responders of social change. But the landscape has shifted. Whether you’re a filmmaker, dancer, sculptor, actor, or painter, creatives today must also be entrepreneurs who are equipped and driven not just to inspire, but to sustain their work and scale their impact.

So in 2025, I evolved FIP to meet that need. We now offer cohorts, workshops, and consulting that teach what most art and film schools don’t. How to:

My mission hasn’t changed. I’m still here to help artists make work that transforms culture. Only now, I’m empowering more of them to do it.

Because when artists are resourced and seen as essential, their stories don’t just reflect the world, they change it.
